1967年東京生まれ。1990年より舞台作曲者として活動。これまでの主なコラボレーションとして、ラサール石井、天野天街、流山児祥などといった演出家との作品があげられる。「花札伝綺」「イロシマ」をはじめとする青木砂織演出作品の全作曲を手掛け、その独特な旋律は不思議な魅力を持っている。舞台上で演奏するスタイルも多く、和楽器をはじめオリジナルの楽器を用いてのパフォーマンスを得意とする演者でもある。

Born in Tokyo in 1967. Active as a stage composer since 1990. His major collaborations so far include works with directors such as LaSalle Ishii, Tengai Amano, and Show Ryuzanji. He has composed all the works directed by Saori Aoki, including Hanafuda Denki and Iroshima, and his unique melodies have a mysterious charm. He plays on the stage in many different ways, and is also a performer who specializes in performances using Japanese musical instruments and other unique instruments he has made himself.
